About this reconditioned pump
This is a remanufactured genuine MAN unit, not an aftermarket rebuild. It has been stripped, inspected and rebuilt to MAN's original specification with genuine parts, then calibrated and tested on a bench so that delivery quantity and timing are back to factory figures. That calibration is what matters most on a fuel pump, because injection quantity and timing set the engine's power, its fuel burn and its emissions.
Because it is factory-remanufactured, it carries the official MAN warranty of 2 years, the same as a new pump, and it is supplied on an exchange basis. A refundable core surcharge is added at purchase and returned in full once you send your old pump back, provided the core is complete and rebuildable. Your net cost is the exchange price, which is usually well below a brand-new unit.
